Summary
E+ KA107 project supports student and staff mobility between JYU and our key partner universities outside Europe. The mobility is based on subject-specific inter-institutional exchange agreements, which may also include several fields. Funding is applied mostly to incoming student and staff mobility. JYU implements outgoing mobility to the global mobility partner universities with its own funding. Within this project, funding is applied for with 9 partner universities. In addition to mobility grants, E+ KA107 programme gives small support (€ 350 per mobility) also for organizing mobilities. Applying for KA107 funding with selected, good partner universities outside Europe is in accordance with the Erasmus Policy Statement of our university. This project will enable us to carry out students and staff mobility with important partner universities in Latin America, Russia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Africa.
This funding can be applied for annually, but the project period is two years (1.6.2017 – 30.9.2019). Because it is highly competed funding, and we are likely to get less funding that we apply for, new funding application will probably we submitted already in the 2018 call.
The application results are ready in April - May 2017. Received funding depends on the amount of KA107 funds in Finland for the geographic area in question, on the number and quality of other applications from Finnish HEIs and on the quality of JYU funding application.
