Johanna Moilanen


General description

I am currently working as a senior researcher (50%) and senior lecturer (50 %) in Social Work. Previously I have worked as a principal lecturer at JAMK University of Applied Sciences (2014-2019), a senior lecturer at JAMK (2010-2014), a doctoral student and part-time lecturer in the University of Jyväskylä (2007-2010), and as a social worker and project manager in several developmental projects (1997-2007, fixed periods in 1997-2001).

Research interests

My current research areas include e.g. child and family social work, youth mentoring, child protection, and peer support and voluntary work in social work, including social work history. I am also interested in social work practice skills, especially communication skills.
