General description

I am a Doctoral Researcher in exercise physiology. My background is in cell and molecular biology (M.Sc.). I use various (bio)chemical research methods including liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, NMR spectroscopy, immunoblotting, and cell culture.

Research interests

I study the role of specific cellular metabolic pathways in muscle size regulation. I also investigate how strength training or mechanical loading of cultured muscle cells affects these metabolic pathways and which metabolites are secreted by the muscle cells into the extracellular space.
