Salme Korkala

I work at Movi as the Vice Director in charge of Education and as a University Lecturer of Speech Communication. I lead Movi's Flexible Pedagogy Team and actively participate in JYULearn activities. I teach restructured communication and language studies (UVK) to students from various faculties, as well as courses within the Working Life Communication module. In terms of pedagogical development, I conduct research with my colleagues on how students' sense of belonging is constructed in communication and language studies. My pedagogical thinking emphasizes flexible learning opportunities, flipped learning, and student-centeredness. My doctoral research examines the leaders' positioning in managing severe workplace conflicts.
