Research interests

Long-term environmental changes are important to study for better understanding of global processes on Earth, the results can be utilized for example for future modelling and risk assessment. My research folds around carbon dynamics and climate fluctuations over past few thousand years recorded in lake sediments of sensitive Arctic lake systems.
