General description

Mikko Antikainen is a Senior Lecturer at the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics. He holds a DSc (Econ and Bus Admin) from Hanken Scool of Economics (2021) and he studied commercial law at Lappeenranta University of Technology where he graduated as a M.Sc. (Econ). His research interest is especially in the area of intellectual property, technological change and digitalization. His doctoral thesis examined protecting digital designs and digital creativity through EU design and copyright law. His publications concentrate on intellectual property challenges of new technologies such as 3D printing, artificial intelligence, and video games. Since 2012 he has taught in the areas of intellectual property law, commercial law, contract law and tort law at the Jyväskylä University.
