Research interests

By researching the ecosocial transition in societies and the role of social work in that transition, it is possible to increase knowledge about the mechanisms, barriers and possibilities concerning the transitions in society and in welfare service systems. Researching and developing the sustainability of welfare services opens various possibilities for social work practitioners to work with their service users in supporting their sustainable wellbeing. In addition, the ecosocially unsustainable practices can be questioned.
