General description
I work as professor of Finnish Language, and my area of expertise is Finnish as a second/foreign language. Currently my key research area is second language learning and use in working life
Active JYU affiliations
Research interests
Finnish language speakers form an increasingly diverse group of people: there are more and more of those who learn Finnish as their second language and use it in parallel with their other languages. This applies to all age groups and affects all basic public services of the society - and transforms working life. My research work tells how.
