Research interests
Our research focusses on molecules that are composed of main group elements but nevertheless mimic the behaviour of d- and f-block metals and their compounds. This involves, for example, the use of organic radicals as building blocks of magnetic materials and main group compounds in small molecule activation. The long-term objective of our research is to find novel alternatives to perform functions typical of precious and rare-earth metals and their compounds.
