Research interests
We study the formation and functioning of groups in an evolutionary and economic framework: what are the circumstances that allow individuals to form groups and cooperate, and when do groups break down as individuals strive to maximize their personal benefits? This research provides information to understand those economic and social structures and institutions that best support wellbeing and success of a society
