Research interests

My research is focused on media audiences and media use in its different forms. I am particularly interested in engagement with digital media but also in how it is entangled with non-digital practices in everyday lives. I have studied audiences of digital games, film, music and literature but also the users of digital learning environments. The research results are important for developers of digital services, such as games and digital learning environments, as well as educators.
