I study neutrino oscillations which is a phenomenon where particles known as neutrinos change their flavour in flight. Neutrinos are some of the most abundant particles in the known universe, and they happen to interact so weakly that they are almost impossible to detect. This makes neutrinos very attractive subjects to study, and someday one could use neutrinos to probe places that have been previously inaccessible with conventional methods, including the energy production of the Sun and supernova explosion mechanisms.
