Jonna Pulkkinen

My research focuses on educational reforms, the special education system, equality in education, and educational exclusion. I study, for example, the reform of the final assessment of basic education, changes in the special education system and in the supply of special education, regional differences in education, and differences between girls and boys in school achievement. In my research, I utilize the international large-scale assessment data (e.g., PISA) and statistics on education.
