Research interests

The aim of my research is to increase the understanding of the global and local interactions in football. More specifically, the development paths of Finnish and Hungarian football are discussed from different aspects. These aspects include the management of youth football clubs, the professionalization of players, and the organization of match events. The results of this research will contribute to the sociological discussions about popularity, success and changes of football in different cultures and societies. Moreover, this study will provide implications for a number of stakeholders in the field of football.
