Research interests

Where do good language teachers come from? How do pre-service language teachers' agency and identity develop in teacher education programs? What kind of learning environment and what kind of learning opportunities do teacher education programs afford to pre-service teachers? How is their learning mediated by their conscious reflection? These are some of the questions that form the basis for my research and for the development of language teacher education in general.
