Research interests

My research produces information about quality of working life, unemployment, school to work transition and family-work relationship on rapidly changing conditions in our society. The foundations of Finnish welfare society are challenged by globalization and increased economic instability which makes this knowledge important for all actors who are dealing with the wellbeing of workers - and citizens generally.
