Research interests

Current research projects are on the reporting of physical activity behaviours in children with long term illnesses or disabilities. Data is collected through the WHO collaborative Health Behaviours in School-aged Children study, which makes it possible to make international comparisons. Physical activity behaviour is fundamentally important to monitor as it can help predict individual health and the impact it has on society. This is further more important in individuals with illnesses or disabilities as improved levels of physical activity can be a strong indicator for human functioning.
