General description

I work at the Centre of Multilingual Academic Communication. My main teaching responsibilities include research communication courses for doctoral students, professional development programme designed for university staff teaching academic content through English (EMI), and an elective course related to translation and culture. My research interests lie at the interface of critical, multilingual and culturally responsive pedagogies.

Topics I am interested in include translation and translanguaging as pedagogical resources; translation in research and writing for publication; linguistic and epistemological equity in academia; transnational scholars' academic identity and diasporic engagements; academic literacies and academic identity, intercultural education and critical thinking dispositions; science communication and societal impact.
