Research interests

My research focuses on understanding the interaction between light and nanostructures, especially, in systems where two or more metal nanoparticles are linked together with molecular bridges. The nanoparticles interact strongly with light forming an excitation to the electron cloud of the nanoparticle. This excitation can be utilized in several different nanotechnological applications.
