Research interests
I am currently co-leading the Vanhemmuuden Voimavara- ja Kuormitustekijät (VoiKu)- project, (part of the International Investigation of Parental Burnout- consortium), which focuses on examining the risk and resilience factors of parental burnout among mothers and fathers through multidisciplinary and international lenses. In addition, my research aims at developing practical tools for early detection and prevention of parental burnout. As a collaborator in the Winning in the Long Run-project, I am examining the development of student-athletes' burnout which is important in preventing sport and school dropouts.
