General description
I work as senior lecturer in social work at Kokkola University Centre Chydenius and as a researcher 1.8.2024-31.12.2025 in Supporting the family - Family work in child and family social work (JYU) - research project.
I am associate editor of Nordic Social Work Research and convenor of ESWRA's Critical realism and social work Special Interest Group. I'm also affiliated to the Department of Social Work at Umeå university.

Research interests
My research field is child and family social work, respite care, expert by experience, social work with adults and peer support. I'm interested in applying critical realism and CAIMeR theory in social work research.
