Research interests
In particular, my research deals with the regularities in the structure and use of Finnish sign language, which I approach with the help of corpus data and various technologies. The knowledge gained from my research can be used directly, for example, in sign language education and will also benefit the sign language community's efforts to promote sign languages as a minority language among other languages.
