I work as a Senior Researcher at the Finnish Institute for Educational Research (FIER) at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. My primary research interests include learning, guidance, and teaching at the interface between education and work.

Research interests

My position as a university researcher is linked to university pedagogical research. In my work, I examine the practices of learning, teaching, guidance and assessment at the interface between education and working life. In my field of specialisation, I examine the learning and teaching of the generic skills in different school levels. I am also associate professor at the University of Tampere in the field of work-integrated pedagogy.
