General description
I work as a university teacher in the Cultures and Communities in a Changing World (KUMU) degree program. I am a docent of cultural politics, specializing in community research. My research projects focus on the study of local communities, cultural participation, cultural planning, and expertise and working life skills in the cultural sector.

Research interests
My research focuses on the study of local communities, cultural participation, cultural planning, and expertise and working life skills in the cultural sector. In community research, I am particularly interested in the role of culture in the construction and development of local communities. The study of working life skills in the cultural sector is integrated into the teaching and development of the Cultures and Communities in a Changing World (KUMU) degree program.
