Research interests

Highly educated labor force and the knowledge produced by higher education institutions are key success factors for contemporary knowledge societies. My research into higher education policy and institutions, research groups and academic careers, enhances the self-understanding of the academic community. The research also offers relevant knowledge for higher education institutions and policy makers about the functioning of higher education in an international context.
