Arto Lipponen

Arto Lipponen is a dedicated professional in the field of neuroscience and pharmacology, with a strong academic background. He holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, and an M.Sc. in Pharmacy from the same institution. Throughout his career, Arto has been committed to contributing to our understanding of neurobiology and related fields through his academic and research efforts.

Over the years, Arto has had the opportunity to work in various academic and research institutions. Currently, he holds the position of Staff Scientist at the University of Jyväskylä in the Department of Psychology, a role he assumed in 2020. Arto's career has included previous roles as a Researcher and Visiting Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä and Radboud Universiteit in the Netherlands, respectively.

Arto's research interests cover a range of topics within neuroscience, including Alzheimer's disease, epileptic spiking, auditory evoked potentials, and memory-based detection of auditory regularity violations. He has contributed to the scientific community through numerous journal articles and research papers.

In addition to his academic and research work, Arto is an active member of professional societies such as the Finnish Pharmacology Society and the Brain Research Society of Finland, demonstrating his commitment to the broader scientific community.
