General description
My research focuses in particular on the acquisition and development of sign language in children and on the learning of sign language as a foreign language in adults. My research also focuses on the themes of bilingualism and multilingualism in children's language acquisition and in the field of education and teaching. In my research, I have developed a range of web-based assessment and learning materials for the assessment and teaching of children's sign language. The knowledge gained through my research broadens our understanding of children's language development, language acquisition and learning.
