Research interests
I am studying three dimensional phononic crystals. Phononic crystals have interesting properties considering heat conduction. For example they can have an energy gap, which means that there can be no heat conduction on a specific frequency range. These crystals can be fabricated by making a periodic lattice, which can consist of close packed spheres for example.
