General description
I am an expert of sustainability transitions, sustainable business and climate change adaptation. Recently my research has focused on food system transition in the projects ScenoProt and Justfood funded by the Strategic Research Council of Finland. I hold a title of docent (environmental management) in the University of Eastern Finland.

Research interests
Dr. Paloviita's research explores sustainability transition in the contexts of policy, management and business models.His research themes include just transition, food system transition, food security, vulnerability and climate change adaptation. The objective of the research is to find sustainable, resilient and just solutions for the society and businesses.
