Summary

My doctoral thesis participates in developing the budding research field of feminist queer narratology. In my research, I focus on narrative voice in contemporary fiction. I discuss different narrative strategies, asking how works of fiction can challenge their readers to reconsider perceived notions about binary gender and sexuality.
