Today, society’s digital services are available in real time anywhere, anytime. In order to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by digitalisation, we must be able to use secure smart devices and communication systems with all the services we offer us.
The security and cyber security issues of the services provided must also be considered throughout the life cycle of the equipment, applications and systems, from design to rejection / abandonment of the equipment, applications and systems. These services and infrastructures are subject to ubiquitous security and cybersecurity threats on a daily basis, which can come from any country or continent. On top of all that, natural threats and risks also have occasional effects on the availability and continuity of services throughout the Arctic, especially in the Arctic.
In addition, we must note that the challenges facing modern society are in many respects due to the ever-increasing complexity of its structures. Complexity is typical of almost all man-made structures. The feeling of uncontrollability arises from the fact that, due to complex structures and chains of influence, it is increasingly difficult to assess the impact of one's own decisions and actions on the whole. In order for this future digital ubiquitous network to operate securely and also for cyber security, the artificial intelligence solutions and data flows used there should be able to be managed and controlled with sufficient accuracy.
The project will develop a training, research, analysis and testing environment for the different components and environments of the ICT infrastructure, which can test, simulate and analyze the performance of all devices, software, systems and AI based on the digital world before deployment in this environment.
