Summary

This study examines the intersection of institutional logics with the management of the social sustainability of sport. The aim of the research is to produce new information about what logics guide the sustainability of sports management and what effects the logics have on the change process. The research project focuses on the context of high performance sports and we look at the historical change in institutional logics. In the project both quantitative and qualitative research datas are collected to enable a multifaceted view on the topic. The study also focuses on how a weak institutional recognition of high performance sport professionalism can sustain socially unsustainable practices from the perspective of building sports as a workplace.
