Summary

The project aims to build an easy-to-use web database for utilizing official information and resource material in the journalistic working process. Reporters can use analyzed summaries of administrative courts decisions and comments of legality authorities in their own information requests. Based on the summaries to be constructed, they can examine the interpretation logic of court decisions case-by-case basis, and compare the decisions of information requests similar to each other for the purposes of their own requests for information.

On the base of previous publicity, reporters also can succeed in evaluating their own opportunities to obtain the information and material they need. By justifying their own requests by earlier court decisions, they at the same time convince authorities that the information and material is to be disclosed.

The content of the database is based on analyzed summaries of administrative court decisions and index words linked to these. Appeals and complaints about the non-disclosure of public information are researched in court cases where the requested information and material are also of great social and journalistic significance.
