Summary
The project monitors colonization of brown trout and landlocked Atlantic salmon in new constructed river channels or old re-opened and re-watered channels or channels that are to be restored. Field methods include redd counting in autumn 2022, observing survival of alevins in spring 2023, and electrofishing sampling areas in autumn 2022. The study rivers include those that other projects, researchers, or consults cannot investigate.
