Summary

CM3 – Computational Multi-Physics, Multi Scales, and Multi Big Data offer new opportunities for innovative optimization methods supported by AI (e.g., machine or deep learning). They enable innovative design processes in Industry and research community in view of the ambitious goal of modern transport widely considered. Novel design concepts include full electric, hybrid-electric, traditional, and hydrogen solutions for transport, which decrease all kinds of pollution from transport. Intelligent logistical solutions and the use of digital data (digital twins) wisely can have a huge effect on the final burden on nature.

This workshop on Design in Transport is motivated by the urgency of this high-tech sector to address climate change through the design of innovative solutions related to transport and energy with the help of new digitalized optimization methods and tools.
