Summary

The research project studies the relation between stock market performance and health outcomes from both directions, i.e. how financial market performance impacts investors’ health and whether health related issues affect investments. As the research questions can be summarized under an umbrella of health, investor behavior and risk aversion, the project provides important results for both, academic financial economics and for health care professionals.
