Summary
The goal of this project is to build a mathematical theory that helps us reliably determine the interior structures of other celestial bodies than our home planet. The most reliable look inside is given by seismic data, and it is beginning to become available from many planets and moons. There is a need to strengthen the theoretical foundations of this exploration, as the arising inverse problems have not been studied mathematically.
