Summary
We intend to investigate how language computer games can contribute to the learning of Swedish as a second language (L2-Swedish). The focus is on L2 Swedish for Finnish-speaking students in junior high school. In previous international research, the focus has been on L2 English, while the phenomenon has been investigated very little in the Nordic countries. In only a few investigations, the target language has been a Nordic language, and there are to our knowledge no previous scientific studies in the research area of L2 Swedish.
