Summary
In the project of MaaseutuPaVe, the interest is focused on the analysis of the current state and future prospects of both the public service network and the community economic activity that complements it (community-oriented service production). The question that guides the implementation of the research is how the changes that have taken place in the public service network and the changes that are on the horizon, as well as the development trends of the community economy, affect the availability of services and, ultimately, the conditions for a good life in rural areas of Finland.
