Summary

EURAD-2 is an EU-wide consortium project related to several aspects of radioactive waste management. JyU will participate in Work Package 12 "ANCHORS". There, we lead Sub-task 3.1 micro-scale characterization, and perform hydromechanical experiments on bentonite-sand mixtures using X-ray tomography methods. Additionally, we participate in Subtask 2.3, where we implement a web-based database of bentonite properties.
