Summary

E+ KA107 project supports student and staff mobility between JYU and our key partner universities in seven countries outside EU:
Bar Ilan University, Israel
Universidad de Montevideo, Uruguay
NRU Higher School of Economics, Russia
St. Mary’s University, Canada
University of Education Winneba, Ghana
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya
University of Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina

The mobility is based on subject-specific inter-institutional exchange agreements, which may also include several fields. JYU supports particularly outgoing mobility to the global mobility partner universities also with its own funding. Within this project, funding is ap-plied for with 7 partner universities. In addition to mobility grants, E+ KA107 programme gives small support (€ 350 per mobility) also for organizing mobilities. Applying for KA107 funding with selected, good partner universities outside Europe is in accordance with the Erasmus Policy Statement of our university. This project will enable us to carry out students and staff mobility with important partner universities in Bosnia & Herze-govina, Canada, Ghana, Israel, Kenya, Russia and Uruguay.

This funding can be applied for annually, but the project period is two years (1.8.2019 – 31.7.2021). It is highly competed funding in Finland for most of the partner countries and we are expected to get much less funding that we apply for. Consequently, new funding application will probably we submitted already in the 2020 call.
