Summary
The Training Room concept has been piloted by the Finnish Center for Sport and Sport at 04 / 2018-05 / 2019. In order to continue the development of the concept and to develop the concept into a functional and expanded concept to include fitness athletes and rehabilitation, the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences and the University of Jyväskylä are also needed for the project. Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences is a nationwide center of expertise in the field of rehabilitation and is a leading developer and trainer of rehabilitation expertise. JAMK's expertise in multidisciplinary rehabilitation enables the use of the latest operating models, rehabilitation processes and technological solutions in the project, as well as the development of extensive expertise together with project partners. Jyväskylä University's solid know-how in sports medicine, physical education and physiotherapy enables the use of the latest knowledge in developing and implementing the concept. The University of Jyväskylä's extensive co-operation network enables better development and dissemination of the concept.
The expertise and know-how provided by the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences and the University of Jyväskylä enable the development and dissemination of project activities to be much wider than if the project were only carried out by the RAC. The joint project will make it possible to expand the use of resources to a broader and stable basis for project implementation.
