Summary
The purpose of this project is to investigate the development of speech perception and production in typically developing children and children with speech production problems using brain imaging techniques (magnetoencephalography and magnetic resonance imaging) and behavioural measures. An experimental design was used to investigate this topic and child data collection is finished while adult data will be collected in the spring of 2019. Finishing this project will provide insight into the differences in children’s development and shed light onto the causes of speech production problems.
