Summary

The European Congress on Molecular Spectroscopy is a biennial conference series with a long tradition, which gather scientists working in the field of molecular spectroscopy research.
EUCMOS2020 is the 35th in the series of congresses organised around Europe since 1951 with the most recent EUCMOS conferences held in Szeged, Hungary (2016) and Coimbra, Portugal (2018). A brief history of the congress is available at the Coimbra congress www-pages.
The EUCMOS2020 in Jyväskylä is the first time the congress is organised in Finland. We hope the Finnish summer, Sun, nature and people will provide a wonderful surrounding for discussions and networking in the various fields in spectroscopy. EUCMOS2020 will highlight especially the following areas in spectroscopy:

Solid state spectroscopy
Spectroscopy of biological systems
Low temperature spectroscopy
Computational and theoretical spectroscopy
Spectroscopy in chemical analysis
Spectroscopy of surfaces, interfaces
Spectrsocopy of new materials
Applied spectroscopy

The scientific program of the congress will include plenary and invited talks, as well as oral and poster presentations.
