Summary

The translation movement of a hydrothermoelastic web (continuous panel) performing transverse vibrations caused by initial disturbances and acting control system is studied. It is supposed that the web moving with a constant translational velocity is described by the mathematical model of an elastic continuous panel with supported edges of the examined span. The web is under thermal action and fluid-structure interaction. The problem of the optimal suppression of vibrations of a multispan panel (web) supported at discrete points will be investigated in the project with consideration of control forces applied to the web. In order to solve the optimization problem we will use modern methods developed with the control theory of distributed parameter systems described by partial differential equations.
