Summary

This proposal studies mobility of older people from a multidimensional perspective over a period from before to during and after the social distancing aimed to prevent spreading of Sars-Cov-2 virus, i.e. shelter-at-home, lock-down. We examine whether the mobility trajectories are associated with factors related to social distancing, intrinsic capacity, environmental factors and indicators of well-being. Social distancing can be regarded as a policy intervention (by reason of the pandemic), that hinders mobility of older people. We will study whether social distancing has adverse effects on mobility of older people and whether these effects will be reversible
