Summary

The Finnish School-age Physical Activity (SPA) study is a national trend monitoring study on many determinants of physical activity among adolescents aged between 9 and 15 years old, which systematically (in two years interval) collect data of physical activity behaviors (PA), and PA-related attitudes and values, and other factors associated with PA behavior among 9-, 11-, 13- and 15-year-old pupils in Finland. A report on each data will be written and it create basis for evidence-informed decision making in national PA and sport policy making. In Spring 2018 the next SPA data will be collected including both survey and objective PA data. This project prepares the Spring 2018 data collection as well as analyses the Spring 2016 data further.
