Summary
The project estimates the size of the spawning stocks of landlocked Atlantic salmon and lake-migrating brown trout in Gullspångsälven, the tributary to Lake Vänern, Sweden. The structure of spawning redds is measured and egg samples are taken from redds to identify the species, salmon or trout, in dna analysis in the gene laboratory of University of Helsinki.
