Summary

In my research I investigate how light and mechanical objects interact at a quantum-mechanical level. This interaction gives rise to a range of interesting phenomena, such as freezing mechanical oscillations to their lowest possible amplitude, allowing us to study the fundamental properties of matter and light, opening up the prospect for the next generation of electronic devices.
