Summary

ADeAPTIVE is a transnational project aiming at improving and implementing innovative learning ecosystems where:
- Students will find a student-centred learning paradigm thanks to adaptive online learning applications.
- Professors will have at disposal easy-to-use online platforms with automatic evaluation systems which will make teaching more efficient.
- Universities and any large educational institutions like Life Long learning and vocational training providers will be able to implement on-line courses with the latest technologies.

ADeAPTIVE focuses on three main paradigms that focus on increasing e-Learning effectiveness and satisfaction to the users. The first one uses technology to increase students' motivation by gamification techniques. The second and third techniques fight against the problems caused by the use of technology instead of traditional learning strategies. The second objective is oriented to fit software requirements and users' digital skills. Third methodology looks for an approximation of e-Learning and traditional teaching techniques where educators are in close and constant interaction with students. If we can find effective solutions for the three issues, we would have found a methodology that takes advantage of learning with new technologies (by applying highly motivation techniques) instead of having a problem with the use of technology.
Moreover, ADeAPTIVE will also create a series of conferences to disseminate the advantages of e-learning with adaptive techniques, gamification and automatic evaluation. Higher Education Stakeholders and policy-makers will get in contact with these technologies to get to know the necessary requirements to implement them from a technical but also from a policy point of view.
For the implementation of this project, a Consortium of 7 different partners with different abilities has been reunited in order to innovate for a Europe in need of a long-life learning education system is required for both European and incoming migrants, personalized e-learning solutions are a great tool to overcome the threats and challenges of the upcoming years.
